About This Manual

The Hometown Countryside Connection User's Manual is intended to be a dynamic document. Updates, corrections of any errors, and additional appendices will be made on the World Wide Web (WWW). You may access the latest version at the web address:

The printed version of the Hometown Countryside Connection User's Manual was printed from the online version on the World Wide Web. You will notice underlined words in the text and a ribbon menu at the beginning of each section. In the WWW on-line version , the underlined words are links to related sections of the manual. The ribbon menu contains links so online viewers can quickly navigate to other sections of the manual.

You may also notice that the printed version contains blank spaces. Your copy of the manual is probably not missing part of the information. Blank spaces such as these may occur when printing long WWW pages, particularly immediately above or below large graphics or tables.

Also note that the page numbers in the printed manual begin with "1" for each section of the manual. For each section, the relative position within that section is in the bottom left corner of the page (e.g. 9 of 15 means page 9 of 15 pages of this section). The current section is noted in the top left corner of each page. In the upper right corner is the URL (WWW address) of that particular section and in the lower right corner, is the date and time the page was printed.

Updates to this Manual

The HCC Manager Program is a work in progress. As people have used the program, they have suggested elements they would like to see added or modified to make web page creation and maintenance easier. Over the past several months, many suggestions have been implemented.

We have created an appendix to cover the new HCC components. If you already have a printed version of the manual, you only have to print the new appendix and add it to the end of your copy.
